The term weblog was coined by Jorn Berger in December 17, 1997.The term blog which is a short term was coined by Peter Merholz, in April or May 1999.It is said that the first blog was links.net which is created by Justin Hall when he was a college student in 1994. since they were called blogs.It was become a popular blog in 2002 which is the big year of the blogosphere. People also started to monitize their blogs with different sites like Blogads, a precursor to google adsense.

Types

Personal blog: in it the bloggers write about their interests, Hobbies, Beliefs, Sorts, Politics etc., and that's why many people show their interests and also share their interests.The writer share their experience also.

Corporate blog: This blog can establish their own products or services with the purpose of increasing traffic so they can gain their customers. Those topics choose that attract the other people or visitors that show their interest in their specific industry. 

Personal services blogs: It discuss topics around the services that are offered. they are important for local services such as lawn care, babysitting, house sitting, dog walking, junk removal, etc.,

Repair services blogs: it also discuss topics around the world that topics are offered. they are beneficial for local repair or maintenance service, businesses such as lawn care, home repair, etc.,

Niche blog: It focus on a specific topic. in which some are specific while others are Niche-up. it includes that the someone is interested in writing articles on blogger it shows their passion about the article. 

   

Affiliate blog: It focus on the products. it' usually in the product form or tutorials for those who are using the products. 

Artist's blog: It focus on the art that is performed y the artists such as, paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, music, photography, writing etc.,
