 Jewellery

Jewellery is jewellery worn by people such as rings, bracelets, and necklaces. It is often made from precious metals such as gold, and sometimes decorated with precious stones.

Jewellry plays a very important role in the lives of most women. Since time age-off, they have enhanced their beauty and made you look elegant and beautiful. The right combination of jewelry and accessories can enhance a woman's beauty and radiance. Choosing jewelry that suits you and your outfit is not always easy. Choosing jewelry as a gift can also be confusing and time-consuming.

Some types of women choose that jewellery that is in a trend and most of the women use that type of jewellery that is light in weight and looks aligant when they wear it.

In most of the cases it can be seen that many girls who really fond to wear jewellery on ears. They wear it but artificial jewellery causes infection on their ears. Sometimes it is considered very harmful for girls.

Sometimes women use that jewellery that is low in price and also looks beautiful when they wear it. But sometimes it can harm them and it is a very difficult situation for girls because girls like jewellery the most but if that jewellery can harm them then it is a very awful situation for girls. In this way, girls use the following type of jewellery that is beneficial for sensitive skin.

Jewellery for sensitive skin:

Tungsten

Tungsten is a tough, attractive metal in its purest form and should not be mixed with nickel or other skin irritants. Therefore, it is ideal for hypoallergenic jewelry. Tungsten chains are featured in many contemporary styles and are very popular in men's jewelry.

Platinum

Platinum is a pure metal, malleable but durable. Doesn't need to be mixed with cheap non-metals like nickel. The neclace chains of platinum can carry the beauty of precious metal.

Gold

Pure gold is so soft that it cannot be used as jewellery and must be mixed. However, gold comes in many different forms, so you can determine which formulas are appropriate. The purest gold used in jewelry is 18K gold, which is 75% pure gold. Avoid white gold chains, usually made from nickel alloys, and if you like silver, opt for platinum chains.

Causes of allergic jewellery

Allergic reactions to jewelry usually occur when the skin comes in contact with jewelry or certain metals in the piercing. This reaction is known as contact dermatitis and its main symptom is a red itchy rash. This rash is not contagious or life-threatening, but it can be very unpleasant.

People can be allergic to all metals, but nickel is the most common allergy. The exact cause of this allergy is unknown, but it could be caused by the sensitivity of the immune system to nickel. Usually the immune system fights only bacteria, viruses, and other toxic substances. However, an allergy to nickel suggests that the metal is considered hazardous by the immune system.

Symptoms of wearing allergic jewellery

Jewelry allergy usually begins 24 to 48 hours after contact with an item. These symptoms can last from 2 to 4 weeks and usually only appear when metal comes in contact with the skin. Jewelry allergy symptoms can mimic those of ivy. Specifically, symptoms may include:

  •  Itching or irritation
  •  Redness
  •  Pain
  • Swelling
  • Warm bumps Burns,
  • blisters and dry rash-like patches
  • Risks of inexpensive jewellery
If you develop a rash while wearing cheap jewelry, bacteria can become infected in the rash. This can happen if the skin is damp or cracked and rough from scratches. It is best to consult a dermatologist if your skin is hard, yellow, crying, or smells strange. An infected rash does not clear up before treatment.

Prevention

When diagnosed with a metal allergy, it is important to stay away from jewellery and other accessories that contain metal. However, this is easier than it sounds, because many jewellery contains metals such as nickel. Silver plated or gold plated jewelry contains a nickel alloy underneath. All gold jewelry less than 24 carats, such as white gold, also contains metal alloys to form the smooth structure of pure gold.

You can wear cheap jewelry while protecting your skin.

Create barriers for your skin

The creation of a barrier reduces the risk of allergic reactions when working with metal. Wear gloves, for example when working with metal. You can use clear nail polish three times with jewelry. Applying clear paint to the jewelry area that touches the skin limits irritation that affects body temperature and sweat. Apply additional polish after several uses.
